Westmont Beats Central Cambria in Overtime

Westmont Hilltop 78, Central Cambria 72 (OT): In Ebensburg, the Hilltoppers hit 8 of 9 free throws down the stretch while the Red Devils missed their final six foul shots.
In a battle of point guards, Wesmtont’s Ian Valente and Central Cambria’s Nate Gillen went head-to-head in a matchup where each scored 25 points. Justin Bulas had 17 points, Ben Molchany 14 and Alex Miller 11 for the Hilltoppers.
Matt Rodacay scored just six points for the Hilltoppers, but had two of the biggest baskets. With his team trailing by one in overtime, he came up with steals and layups on back-to-back possessions to put Westmont up for good.
Evan Bopp scored 19 points and Matt Holsinger added 15 for the Red Devils, who were just 9-for-20 from the free-throw line.
